As with the previous competition, the artists in the final stage were both well-known and beginning artists, and once again the expressive mediums were varied: sculpture, video, product design, photography, installation art, textile art and fashion design.

12 works reached the final stage. The Adi Prize for Jewish Expression in Art and Design for the year 2003 was awarded to Zelig Segal for his work, To Touch the Light.
